Traditionally used in Japan to hold water for rinsing the body after washing and before one enters the bath. You will notice the natural resin visible on each bucket, this resin is what makes hinoki famous for it’s water resistance and refreshing aroma. These beautiful straight grained wooden buckets hold water but may not be completely leak proof. They would be lovely filled with bath accessories or Epsom salts for scooping into your tub.
