Made of the highly aromatic Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) known in Japan for its durability, wonderful aroma, mildew resistance, and for its antibacterial effect. These properties are the reason that this beautiful wood has been used since ancient times in Japan to build temples, shrines and baths. It works perfectly for bath accessories.

The Hinoki wood used is gathered from the necessary thinning of Japanese hinoki forests.
