These versatile crayons are made from rice bran wax (which delivers a smooth feel when drawing) and are water-soluble so they can be used like watercolors; dissolving in water or blending with a wet paintbrush. We offer three fun boxes of vibrant colors, each set containing six different colors:

“Face (pastels)” - pink, golden yellow, yellow, turquoise, light purple, and beige,

“Nature (brights) ” - magenta, orange, moss green, navy, reddish purple, and ocher, and

“Bird (primaries)” - white, red, yellow, green, blue, and black.

Kitpas by Artist crayon boxes feature artwork drawn with kitpas by artists with disabilities from Art Space, a social welfare facility under Fujisawa Ikuseikai. Part of the proceeds from the purchase of these crayons are returned to the artists. Kitpas crayons are great for any artist and are safe for young children (think bathtub!).

These crayons won the Grand Prize of the Stationery Awards 2024 as one of the best stationery items of the year!
