“The starting point for this hanging advent calendar wreath is Angie's linocut Larch and Berry, inspired by a favorite hillside walk near her home in north-east Scotland. The stony track climbing through woodland is littered with larch branches, invariably festooned with chalky green lichens, while scarlet rowan berries make a glowing contrast against dark conifers. These, along with soft feathers gathered along the way, are scattered through the circular design. Red ribbon for hanging attached.

Behind each of the 25 windows is a small watercolor Angie painted especially for the wreath.”
